As I state here and there, I both ask and
answer my frequently asked questions. If you have a question, perhaps
I'll install a legitimate faqs page, but the issues dealt with here don't
lend themselves to answers, but just because we don't know the answer
doesn't mean we can't ask the question.
What happens after we die?Who knows? Harry Houdini said he'd
pierce death's curtain. He hasn't. Life is so great a miracle, heaven, hell,
or nothing as followers of life are equally reasonable possibilities.
Since I see life as ironic, I see death as dreamless sleep. We do it every day, and
it still scares us.
Refusing to acknowledge our ignorance,
we reassure ourselves with collective thinking. Believers kill non-believers because
triumph proves the validity of their belief. True believers can kill
everyone alive today. They still won't know what happens after we die.
Does God exist?Who knows? God explains us.
We need hir because we cannot imagine an uncaused cause. We say God created
the universe, but have no idea who created God.
Can we live without a God imposed morality? Sure. Equality means
no one imposes. Beats the Golden Rule. George Bernard Shaw warned us not to do unto
others as we would have them do unto us because tastes differ. Equals need permission
to do anything to anyone.
