IF GOD IS ALL POWERFUL-CAN S/HE MAKE A ROCK SO BIG S/HE CAN'T
MOVE IT?
The yin-yang of logic. We say "All generalizations are incorrect",
itself a generalization. Or "Everything in moderation, including moderation."
Good, but not especially helpful. Absolute beliefs, pushed to
their limits, generate contradictions. You get the idea.
Does God have limits? I hope so. Hate to think s/he could make
our lives easier, but doesn't. Seems meanspirited.
We can't put ourselves in God's shoes. Death tragic to us,
matters not to a God who knows what happens afterwards.
Some see life's tribulations as heaven's entrance
examination, but were we to live without damaging each other, eternal life
remains a possibility. Were God to punish us for peace on earth, something is
wrong with God, not us.
Back to the question. Can God create a rock so large s/he can't move
it? I vote "No".
